Armstrong Plumbing
Challenge: Rebrand the company to showcase its woman-owned status for their 50th anniversary.
Client Challenge
Armstrong Plumbing is a residential and commercial plumbing company in Sacramento, CA. Marcy, the owner, took over the business from her dad. For the company’s 50th anniversary, she wanted to rebrand the company to showcase its woman-owned status with a strong female personality. Her objective was to make the company more women-friendly to acquire new female customers more readily than regional competitors.
Our Marketing Solution
Our creative concept features a variation of Rosie the Riveter from the WW2 ‘We Can Do It’ campaign. We then rebranded the company’s visuals and messaging:
Brand messaging to update core messages and to communicate the new brand and anniversary.
Logo design based on Rosie the Riveter to achieve a competent yet feminine brand personality.
Stationery design, and exterior / interior building signage design.
Vehicle wrap design for service vehicles.
Print advertisements.
Brochures and flyers.
Results
The client loved the new identity as it exactly fit the brand personality she envisioned. Armstrong Plumbing successfully increased its female customer base.
Sales inquiries from women increased by 16% over prior years.
Customer acquisition of women clients increased by 11% over the prior year.
Brand awareness increased due to citizens seeing and remembering the newly wrapped vehicles around town.
Customers gave the company very positive feedback about the new brand.
